Garmin Edge® 1040 Solar: GPS Bike Computer with Solar Charging and Long-Lasting Battery

The Edge® 1040 Solar is a GPS bike computer powered by the sun and equipped with a range of features. It utilizes solar charging and multi-band GNSS technology to extend battery life and provide superior coverage even in challenging environments. This allows for longer rides and better accuracy even under dense tree cover or in urban canyons. The Power Glass solar charging lens increases battery life, providing up to 100 hours in battery saver mode and up to 45 hours in demanding use cases. During daytime rides, it adds up to 42 minutes per hour in battery saver mode and up to 20 minutes per hour in demanding use cases assuming continuous 75,000 lux conditions.

The Edge 1040 Solar simplifies setup with a streamlined interface, making it quick and easy to access information, courses, and tools. Users can also adjust data fields directly from the device or their paired smartphone. The device is controlled using an application and also includes a special feature such as Bluetooth.

The multi-band GNSS technology enhances positioning accuracy, allowing users to navigate through challenging environments with ease.
