KICKR Thru Axle Adapter Kit for Wahoo KICKR CORE and KICKR V4 and Newer Models, 2024 Upgrade

This set of updated thru axle adapters does not include the legacy/stock adapters but replaces the functionality of the original parts. The new 148mm Non-Drive adapter replaces the original non-drive side KICKR 142/148 adapter, and the new Shimano style freehub lock nut or XDR style freehub lock nut replaces the original lock nut. Additionally, the new Drive side spin cap replaces the original drive side spin cap.

When using the stock Shimano HG11 or Campagnolo compatible freehub bodies, the Shimano style freehub lock nut (longer) should be installed. Conversely, the XDR style freehub lock nut (shorter) should be installed when using the SRAM XDR compatible KICKR freehub body.

The KICKR thru axle adapter kit is compatible with Wahoo KICKR CORE and KICKR v4 (2018) and newer models of KICKR. CONVENIENT INSTALLATION This kit is very easy to install, and you will need a cassette lock ring tool, chain whip, 14mm tapered wrench, and 17mm tapered wrench to get started. COMPATIBILITY TIPS Please retain the legacy/stock adapters for future use with 148mm thru axle and QR bikes. Note that in 2020, several bicycle manufacturers updated the thru axle interfaces of the frames of select bike models, making them incompatible with KICKRs version 3 [2017] through version 5 [2020] and all versions of KICKR CORE. The updated set of adapters allows compatibility with affected bicycles and the above trainers, with the exception of KICKR v3 [2017].
