It's compatible with QR axles and solid axles up to 12mm (0.48 inches OD). If you have 12mm Thru-Axles, you'll require Burley's adapted Thru-Axle, as this replacement axle has external threading to accommodate the installation of our axle mounted hitches. Do note that if you're upgrading from a Classic Hitch to this Steel Hitch, you will need to purchase a Flex Connector separately. However, the Flex Connector is not included, but you can find it in our store. Also, please be aware that it cannot fit with Breezer style dropouts.
